About CutOff Gallery

CutOff Gallery is a space dedicated to rare photography from the rap and electronic music scenes.

Operating as both a creative studio and a photo gallery, CutOff 'digs' through photographers' archives to unearth rare and powerful shots – those that deserve to be preserved on paper for their artistic and historical value.

Each print offered is the result of a collaboration between the gallery and the photographer. The selected works must capture an authentic moment of creation where spontaneity takes precedence over staging.

Our artistic approach is inspired by the creative process of a music studio: fueled by intuition and freedom, guided by high standards and precision, with no compromise on details.

The gallery takes its name from the Cut Off – a music production filter originally designed to isolate specific sound frequencies, but which, when creatively applied to Soul or Funk samples, shaped the iconic sound of French Touch.
It is this spirit of freedom that inspires us: to reinterpret existing codes and elevate what is already there.

CutOff Gallery offers iconic photographs that alone encapsulate the power of music and the story of an era. An invitation to marvel at a photo. To feel it. To listen to it.

Our 3 Mantras

RARITY - CutOff offers exceptional prints, distinguished by their rarity and evocative power. We unearth visual treasures that capture an artist's iconic status and their impact on the cultural tapestry of an era.

EXCELLENCE - The production of CutOff prints is supervised and approved by the photographers themselves to best convey the intensity of the moment captured. Each photo is printed on Fine Art paper, in a limited edition never exceeding 30 copies. This means no more will ever be produced.

ARTISTIC STANDARDS - Our photos are sold titled, numbered, and hand-signed by the photographers, and come with an unforgeable certificate of authenticity. CutOff strives to offer silver gelatin prints whenever possible.

Our prints are shipped worldwide in reinforced packaging (tube or wooden box), via DHL Express, with insurance included.
